Default 1996 Inoperable Moon Roof

My 1996 Disco forward moon roof doesnt seem to open anymore. I can hear a little click when button is pushed which I guess is a relay or something. The rear moon roof opens fine. Where should I start to diagnose this thing?

Leave it closed and dont worry about it, your tracks are toast and the only fix is a new sunroof, common on DI's.
About $1500 to repair.
If the motor is bad then you need a new sunroof, about $1500 to repair.
Because it clicks when youi press the button then the button is good.
If it was the sunroof ECU then you would not get anything from the front sunroof button. No click, nothing.
You need a new sunroof, leave it closed.

I bought a new set of sunroof rails off ebay for less than $100. I have not installed them yet but after reading a post on DiscoWeb's tech section it seems pretty straight forward to remove and replace the rails. I'm pretty certain I can get it done for less than $1500 even if I have my mechanic do it. Spike just doens't like the sunroof because the sun is hot on his bald head.

You mean there's sun in Michigan? Maybe reflections of the sun off all the snow!! Just because he likes to wear the Hawaiian shirts doesn't mean it's sunny outside.

I have warm thoughts!
In my mind I am always on a beach in the Carribean sipping umbrella drinks...watching the Disco's go by.
