This may be a stupid question, if it is, try and stifle that laugh. I want to get an electronic climate control and replace the one in my truck with that- can it be done?

Not a stupid question, but I'm wondering what it is exactly that you are trying to achieve?

I think she is wanting to go to the digital climate controls over the dials.

I have wondered about that too, if you can put the electronic climate control off the DII into the DI since I think the dash mount is the same. I wonder if you can cut and splice the connectors.

Most of the mechanical climate controls (*****) are usually controlled through arms and levers or cables and digital climate controls are sending electrical signals to air pumps. I know you can do it but I bet it is going to be expensive.

It is not a stupid question, just an expensive, near impossible one.
As already mentioned, the operating controls are different between a D1 and a D2.
Sorry
