I was wondering if some know the firing order and a 1999 Land Rover Discovery Series II Firing Order with a Bosch Engine. I know that cylinders 1,3,5,7 are on the left side (drivers side) and that cylinders 2,4,6,8 are on the left hand side (pass. side) but the engine has two coils and there is where it gets confusing. The coils are side by side, if anyone knows this I would really appreciate the info.

DiscoMike I just finished trying the firing order in the order you said but I had no luck. I will try it again tomorrow. Mr. Switzer I thank you for the images those will really help but again I will try it again tomorrow. Once again thanks guys!

 

no luck with what? what was your problem to begin with?

 

The truck had a Problem with cylinders 5 and 6, thats what the scanner was picking up. I bought the spark plugs and the wires but messed up the firing order. When I got the firing order from the good members of this forum the truck was worse than before I changed both spark plugs and wires.
