Unhappy 1st Post >>> Door Lock Disco II Problems

I've read many posts trying to figure this out. I've had my 02 Land Rover Discovery II for two years. The other day the key fob and the manual door lock and unlock switch near the radio all quit working - the only way I could get in was with the key manually thru the drivers door - I was able to use the interior handles to unlock the other doors from the inside but today that stopped working also so I can only use the drivers door which really sucks! alarm works, key only locks and unlocks driver door. is there a quick fix?

Replace the lock motor mechanism on the driver's door.
If these fail and jam where as the contacts in the unit are telling the central locking
somthing which is untrue, then nothing works anymore.

Could also be the Keyless alarm module that is located in the ceiling, just in front of the rear sunroof. I replaced mine, and my keyless entry now works on all doors except for the drivers side. Need to replace the lock motor mechanism next.

When you say "lock door mechanisam" Do you mean the actuator or something else? My driver side lock does not want to unlock but it does lock on 2nd try, this just started happening. Not sure what is wrong with it.

Any ideas?
