Default 2 amigos &... 1... hombre??

04 Discovery 82k...
I've had this happen twice in the past week: Start up drive two blocks, hit the brakes and TC, ABS, and BRAKE lights come on. When I restart they go away... I've done all the proper reading on the 3 amigos, but I don't get the "Hill Descent" light. Fluid level is fine, but my rear pads are really low, my rotors should be arriving any day now and I'll be doing ceramics and drilled/slotted's all around... Are there low pad sensors that would throw all 3 of these lights on or something?

Honestly, I'd rather remain a lurker (and now that this is #5, I probably will)... but there are 5 posts required for full access. Many newbies make improper posts in improper sections. At least I made an introduction in the proper place, read the stickies, understood how the site works without stepping on toes and posted a couple valid replies and questions... I'm certainly not a LR mechanic, but I'm no newbie to working on my own vehicles. I've never seen low pads throw these lights up on any of my vehicles and I don't believe I have the 3 amigos issue...

So... yes and no. I probably didn't need to ask, but I was curious if it was common to get these three for something simple like pads... plus I needed a couple more posts under my account.

Thanks for the opportunity for my #5...

Sounds like it could be or you could have a hub that is beginning to fail.

might be worth it to invest in an RSW amigo if you plan on holding on to the truck for any length of time so you can troubleshoot at will.

Was wondering if when you changed the pads/rotors, the "2 amigos and hombre" stopped visiting? I just had the same experience tonight on the way home. Got home, restarted the car, and the lights had gone...It's too cold and dark to pull the wheels tonight to look at the front pads (Just did the rears a bit ago), so just wanted to check on your experience.

Just changed everything out on Saturday and flushed with synthetic fluid. No more lights thus far, but my rear pads weren't as low as I'd thought, so I can't imagine that was the cause. Glad I did the brakes tho, now my new '08 HSE wheels will stay dust free (i know i know 19"s are not as good off road, but the sidewall is the same thickness as my stock 18"). woo hoo!
