Question 2 Connections can't identify

I've replaced my engine wiring harness to fix some issues and I have these to connections I can't locate a home for them. One is on each side of the motor and they don't have much slack so they have to be close I assume.

The engine temperature gauge red light comes on immediately and I didn't see the temp gauge go up as I warmed it up.
Also the truck hesitates greatly when I gas it, otherwise it revs up great and idles high.

Thanks for any help!

Ok, so the black plug on the right went to the Temp Sensor on top of the motor.

I am still perplexed as to the white one on the passenger side.. I can't find anything it could reach.. The colors are black with green strip and pink with green stripe.

Ok, so on the passenger side there are two plugs with that type of connection, the temp sensor in the bottom of the radiator and the oil pressure switch. On the drivers side, the only o.ne with that type of connection is the SAI solenoid and the vapor canister solenoid connection.

Thank you!! All plugs are set! However, Im getting a hesitation at initial throttle.. I'm thinking i've got a vacuum leak.. Its Idling high does a quick bog before reving up.. I'll need to check torques specs. I reused the intake gasket as it was metal and seemed ok to recrush..

Dude. Never reuse gaskets. They're like $16

Also, make sure you have the right colored plugs on the IAC valve and the evaporator canister solenoid. The plugs will work on either connection, but the gray one goes on the IAC and the black plug goes on the evaporator solenoid connection.

The evaporator solenoid is mounted to a bracket by the valve cover, drivers side, and uses the black plug connection. I believe the SAI solenoid is on the same bracket, if memory serves me right, but it has a different style plug...or the connection won't reach either of the other two locations.

Brian.
