Default 2" suspension lift

Whats everyone's take on the best 2" suspension lift. I've been looking around trying to decide what to go with. I think I've narrowed my choices to the arb heavy duty and the bearmach 2". Just not sure if the bearmach is a heavy duty or medium duty springs. I like the pro comp shocks but I see myself needing the heavy duty springs due to what I see myself doing in the future with bumpers and accessories. Was wanting some input from the forum since I know everybody has their different opinions and running their own set ups. Mine will be used off road in central Alabama and playing at the hunting camp and towing a golf cart for tailgating and hunting.

I didn't care for OME springs that much and loved my old school RTE springs.

Shocks I like my TerraFirma All-Terrian shocks. I have also run Bilsteins 7100 remote resi shocks and OME as well. The 7100 were pretty great with the RTE Springs but they are expensive and I would probably look at Fox instead for the future.

Arb should be fine. OME shocks. Medium duty. Heavy duty plus a 10ply tires for occasional off roading. Ride will be so stiff, youll have your kids bounce around in the back. A lot of maintenance on suspension. Squeak and all that. Just my experience.

I'm looking at an arb front bumper n a good warn 12k winch up front and then a good steel rear bumper. Didn't know if that might change and opinion set ups.

I didn't actually know bearmach or ARB made lift kits.

I'm planning on doing the Terrafirma MD 2" lift, with full understanding that an upgrade to Fox/RTE springs may be warranted down the road. I just want to try something out thats affordable & easy first, so I can appreciate the quality difference if/when I decide to upgrade. I'm deciding against the 3" lift for now, because too many other things need to be upgraded to make the 3" lift stable.

Here's what I know so far
TF MD springs = 2" lift
TF HD springs = 2-3" lift, use this if you have front/rear steel bumpers
OME HD springs = TF MD springs

Go with the 3", man. You do not need to change anything unless you go over 3". The 3" gives you OPTIONS! The RTE 3" are $375. You can't get much cheaper than that!

If you already know you are doing bumpers and accessories go with a 3" lift. RTE's are $375, can't get much cheaper than that. Believe me you will be happy you have the 3" when you start adding all the heavy stuff, I've been there.

+1 for 3" from the get go. I hear a ton of people saying that after they do 2" they wish they would have just done the 3".
