Default 2000 to 2003 Discovery front conversion of bumper, headlights, and components

Hello fellow Disco Lovers

I have a 2000 Disco II that had a front end collision (not done by me)... only cosmetic damage. But as a result I need a new front bumper cover, new headlights, new finishing pieces etc... The only thing that survived was the grill.

So I couldn't help but wonder if I could do a little upgrade in the process. I was thinking of giving her a face lift and getting her more 2003 looking...

Anyone have any experience with this? Suggestions, Pointers? words of caution?

Thanks all!

Word of caution, you'll probably bleed a lot doing it. There's a lot of sheet metal to be cut up. It's fun though.

I happen to be partng an '04 and have the full front end- bumper, fog lights, bumper end caps, headlights, headlight finishers, even a Genuine LR brush-guard...

Would gladly make you a package deal for everything you need!

So here's a question...I actually LOVE the original D1 and D2 front end

I'm assuming the conversion can go backwards?

Because that would open up a lot of possibilities insofar as two more years to purchase.
