Default 2000 D-2 Stereo Faceplate

Folks, stereo is acting strange (probably due to water from sun roof). Trying to remove the faceplate but don't have the tool to fit those little slots.

Any alternatives for taking it off?

Thank you for any suggestions,
Larry

That's what I used on mine when I took mine out to send it off to have a stereo mini-plug installed to listen to a mp3 player.

Thanks, appreciate that. Should have some of those around here ... somewhere!

Appreciate the quick replies,
Larry

But for the record it's not just the faceplate you remove by inserting tools into the slots. That releases the entire radio to slide out.

There's a YouTube video out there on how to do it without the tools.
