Default 2000 Disco 2 won't start

I've been chasing a misfire on my 2000 Discovery 2. Most recently I've done the coils, wires, and plugs. Got everything put back together and the thing just cranks, but won't start. Tried throwing back in the old coils just to see if it was a bad set of coils or not, same issue. Read that the CPS could cause problems like this and it's a cheap part so I went ahead and replaced it as well. Same thing, just turns over with the occasional pop through the upper manifold like something is trying to ignite.

So, it ran (with a miss) and you tuned it up...and now it doesn't.

I'd check the firing order on the coil packs and the plugs for each coil packs from ECM. Have you tried to confirm if it has spark? Does it run on ether?

Has spark. I confirmed the firing order when I tested it with the old coils. Need to pick up a can of ether....I realized I was out once my wife left with the other car....figures.

There is a port on the fuel rail, also, if you have a pressure gauge.

Was able to get in today to test. Has pressure at the fuel rail.

Did you by chance bump into the inertia switch?
It's on the firewall, passenger side.
Press it and see if it will start.

What was the fuel pressure?

A few troubleshooting steps back I did find that the inertia switch was tripped so I clicked it back, still nothing. When I tested the fuel pressure I also jumped the relay for the fuel pump to make sure it was running and it did power up. I also put power to the relay itself to see if it would click and it does. I'm starting to think that I didn't get the crack sensor plugged in all the way, but I don't really want to think about getting to the connector behind the head again, that part sucked.

If you cut a window in the wheel well with a whiz-wheel or shears, you can get at the ckps easy. Just make two vertical cuts, bend away, and bend back when done. Use Gorilla tape or whatever to close the gaps.

Was the intertia switch tripped before or after the crank sensor?

Did you get the spacers in the correct place when doing the sensor?
