Default 2000 Disco fuel problems.

Alright guys here you go- fuel pump is good and im gauging out at little over 50 lbs ft at the rail schraider valve. The rail its-self has fuel in it if you pull a injector. oh, and all the injectors are OMing out in range.

It will start, but wont stay running. I can rev it a few times until it dies-no fuel-no power!

I can spray starting fluid into the intake and it will run like a beast until it burns it all- then it dies. NO fuel...

any ideas??

Bad crank position sensor.
Get one at your local autoparts store.
It is located at the 3 o'clock position on the back of the engine.

I changed it about 4 months ago, the old one was bent just a little. I suppose it could have just been a bad/new one that I put in, but...

So it starts and then immediately dies? Is the service engine soon light on?

oh yea check engine light is always on. um, (running lean on banks #1 and #2, and misfire on 1,3,5,7.) but it isnt throwing any other codes that would be helpful. I did change the front O2 sensor, plugs, wires, but its funny 1357 are all on the left side of the motor.

It will try to stay runnin but it is starving for fuel. If I spray more fluid into the intake it revs up and runs good---until it burns the fluid.

but, its not throwing any codes like MAF, or Cam pos sensor, like you would think.

Have you tried checking psi at the rail after a start/stall cycle? Fuel pump could be running enough to prime up and the die out once running.
