2000 Disco II interior mirror features
I have a 2000 Disco II which I bought used in 2007. Ever since I have had it, the interior mirror has displayed the compass heading in letters (N NE E SE, etc.) The other day when I first turned the ignition key to start, I noticed a quick flash of temperature in Farenheit with a faded Celsius in the background, just like the engine check lights appear briefly upon starting the vehicle. It would lead me to believe that there is some way to switch the display from a compass to a constant readout of external temperature.
Anyone know how to do this? The owners manual is silent on both features.
By the way, I LOVE my Disco.

Been asked "many" times, as we have all seen that.
Its a self check of the LCD basically when you first turn it on, it would be cool if it could be switched to a temp display, but you have that on the Aircon ECU anyway.
Maybe when land rover designed it they included that option, but decided to turn it off once the vehicle went into production, so its now just a compass
