How in the heck do you remove this? I can not seem to reach the back two 8MM bolts closest to the passenger seat. I can not reach from under the truck. I have removed the console etc. Torn everything down and have loosened the two bolts closest to the driver side.

Anyone have any luck reaching the back bolts? If so how did you get to them and what did you use?

Thanks!

Other than dropping the transfer case I guess I'll just pull the carpet cut me an access hatch and remove the solenoid. Then patch with some aluminum plate and screws and reinstall the carpet.

no help from me, but I like the idea of the carpet and cut technique.... simple and direct.

I was finally able to remove the four bolts to the solenoid. I ended up taking out the front driver seat so I could have more body contortion. Now the cover is off but I can not break the solenoid loose.

Anyone have any recommendations how this could be achieved?

Finally out!!!! Ended up moving a bunch of cables etc. out of the way and still was not able to pull up on the solenoid. Finally was able to get a small flat head screwdriver under the lip where the wires connect to the solenoid. What a pain in the A@@!

See attached photo for details.
