i would replace the K&N filter with a traditional paper type before you kill your MAF sensor.

http://custom4x4fabrication.com/front_discovery.htm

about $600 complete ..... and yes that is my disco before I started the mods lol .... doesnt even look remotely the same ha...we changed the bumper a little bit from that pic as well and beefed it up a little more. First bumper took a deer in the grill going 90mph the deer never reached the hood or radiator. Had some minor right fender damage and tire damage from bumper get pushed about 3-4" into tire. Friend came out to get me and we pulled bumper out of tire using my kevlar strap and I drove it home almost 90 miles. Still using same tire and all. Bumper was bent and warped from the massive impact so got a new one. Vehicle would be totalled without a doubt if not for that bumper.

Have had the filter for over 2 years no problems what so ever. With muffler, k&n, and bosch +4's I have ALOT more power than I did at 50k or 60k miles (115k miles now ) My fuel mileage is also about the same as it was before putting larger tires on as well. Its purring like she was meant to.

I dont like that "prerunner" bar but I like the rest of the bumper.
The red "D" rings really set it off.

I dont like it much at all................Really cannot see the point in the bars in front of the headlights, to low to be useful for limb risers etc, does not protect the top of the headlights / front of bonnet......infact in that position its going to block a signifcant amount of light from the head light, but opinions vary and thats what makes the world go round.

if it hasn't killed your MAF in 2 years than you have not oiled it enough to catch enough dirt and dirt is getting sucked in which is even worse than killing your MAF with oil. OR you have some mysterious MAF unlike everyone else with a D2 that dies very easily with a touch of liquid like that
