Default 2000 Discovery Tail & Brake lights, wipers

Sorry if this has been covered 1000 times! I have a 2000 Discovery and the brake and tail lights keep burning out. (not all at the same time). I will replace them and the next thing I know, one bulb is not working. Also, I have a problem with the windshield wipers just stopping while in use. Being female, I am not extremely car savy! Thanks for the help!

While you are in there, replace all of the bulbs at the same time with long life bulbs and add a touch of die electric grease to the sockets. Not sure on your wipers stopping. Do they start again if you wiggle the switch?

And check for ground issues, what you are describing is far from normal. I don't think I have burned out more then 3 bulbs in my 99.

Yes. The wipers just stop mid swipe. I tune them off and back on to get them to move again. They work for a while and then stop again.

for the wipers, what setting are they on when they do this, or does it not matter?

Sounds like your wiper switch is going bad.

And for your bulbs, sounds like a bad voltage regulator.
