Keep the Datsun... Disco are absolute garbage. Buy it only if you love it, for no other reason... like we all did haha.

 

congrats on a great find! that's a beautiful truck, and from the pics you posted it looks like you know what to do with off roaders. and like GK said, it's a passion kind of thing with Disco's- they certainly don't make any sort of 'good' sense. that being said, the wife and I bought the Disco in Jan for an around-town second vehicle, we also have a '12 Passat. the Passat has become the second vehicle... for now! congrats, and welcome to the boards- lots of good info and knowledge here.
