Default 2002 kalahari

So I currently own a 2002 Land Rover Discovery 2 special Edition Kalahari I confirmed the VIN number and have received a printout confirming that it is a true Kalahari Edition. However I'm having a hard time figuring out the actual value and whether I'm correct in understanding but only 300 these were made 150 being yellow and black and 150 being white and black. The car is in amazing condition 73500 miles just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction for information thanks

Kalahari’s are limited editions. To some LR people it’s just paint, but it’s honestly far more than that. Rims, interior, bumper, grill, door panels, and the seats are unique and only available on the Kalahari model. It’s like the D1 XD which was also produced in limited #’s. To a true LR enthusiast any LR special edition will fetch more $$$$ especially if it’s in excellent condition.

I own an 02 Yellow Kalahari myself & I have no plans on ever selling it!

My advice would be to email LRNA and ask them if they would provide you that information. They might. I have a 2000 Kinver Sand Disco and emailed them to see if they would confirm that color was 1 of 200. Their response? They wouldn’t provide that kind of information since it could affect the value of other Discos. It’s worth a shot though since your Disco is a true limited edition

Oh and for the record none of my LR Special Vehicles ever had the plate under the hood, however both were legit. (97 Range Rover 4.6 HSE Vitesse in AA Yellow & my 02 Kalahari).

Fake ones are easy to spot = interior, because those are truly one of a kind parts unique to the edition you have.

I was told by a reputable rover technician that the special addition builds also had a more aggressive electronic mapping for traction control. Haven’t read this anywhere - wonder if there’s truth to that.
