Default 2003 4.6 oil sending unit thread size?

Hi all I'm trying to connect a oil pressure gauge but the threaded adapter doesn't fit. Anyone know what size thread it is?

Thank you for the response. I finally found the fitting that threDED into sending unit after all weekend. I had an oil light come on and was trying to see if oil pump took a s@#$.
Had to rig up a gauge gauge cause nobody had a pressure tester. Ended up reading zero. I'll post size tmrw when I go out again. But thanks soo much for reply. I spent day in town buying any fitting that looked like it might fit.

M20x1.5 (oil cooler port) or 1/4-20 UNF (next to the oil pressure switch).

becarefull where you plug that in, if you plug it above the oil oem port there is a valve in there and it will give you a false reading on your oil pressure guage, it will start bouncing up and down

Thanks, I found a fitting at a parts store. I can't find a number on it to share. Pressure registered zero on the gauge. Gonna pull pump and check it.
I took all the bolts "I think" off the oil pan but that thing still feels bolted on. Got the 2 in the back that go into trans and the ones all around. I've pounded
with rubber mallet. Looks like aluminum kind of afraid, do you guys think a dead blow hammer would be to much?

In my experience usually when something feels like it’s still bolted on it is. I know there are a couple of oil pan bolts that aren’t obvious. Don’t hit too hard. You may need something like a putty knife between the pan and the block/timing cover to start breaking the gasket free. But be careful. As you noted, the engine is aluminum and will scratch quite easily.

Yeah my thought exactly. It is so solid that I feel like I must be missing something. I'll take a few pics and post them up here maybe someone will see what I've missed.

Check the rave as you can count how many bolts there are and see if you have that many out already. Ran into a similar issue first time dropping the oil pan..

Got it there were the two that were recessed up into the pan. Now its the pumps turn I got them all out " I think". I pulled four on left side and two on right. I took off the water pump. I got it loose on bottom a bit but the top is still very solid. Going to dive back into it tonight.
