2003 Disco II without a LAND ROVER on the hood
Any good reasons as to why my hood would not have LAND ROVER on the front? Do they not put it on Silver-colored models?

No it should be there. I hope it wasn't front ended and they never put a sticker on the front hood. I may be incorrect but for silver models I believe they use a dark grey or black sticker. Have you ever run a carfax on this vehicle? Any other suspicion of front end damage?

Sounds like the hood has been repainted or replaced and they did not replace the logo.
Go order one, they are easy to install.

No, no indication of front end damage, but nothing has jumped out at me. Then again, something is off because there is a cable hanging down from each of the headlights, I have no idea what it is. I have to do more inspection, still waiting on the service manual to get here. It may very well have had the whole front end replaced, and whoever did it didn't match up parts or something. I keep finding little things all over that I'm having to touch up or put back to spec. The owner was a car idiot. I probably should not have bought it, but I got it for 12,000 with 59000 miles. It is in good shape, and getting better since I've been putting time into it. Probably should have left it in Ohio.

I'll bet the cables are for the fog lights. The hood may have been replaced due to hail damage, they just did PDR on the rest. I have had 2 cars they have done it to. My sticker was worn off when I got mine, I wish I had gone with the raised letters now. The sticker is peeling off on the L again.

At the price you paid for it, someone wanted to get rid of that truck, I'll bet money it has been damaged, to what extent I can't say.
