Great post.
I seem to have a problem with my power window too.
It's on the front driver side.

Before it got stuck, we noticed that each time we bottomed the window down, it made a lot of knocking/popping noise. We always catch it before we get too deep.
Yesterday, I was distracted and held the window button down far too long and heard the knicking sound. Alas, my friggin window is stuck down.

The motor seems to still work, I think. When I push the windown down button, there is the knocking noise. Press the window up button, I hear a tick but no movement. I removed the panel and inspected the regulator. All the wheels are still there. In fact, when I push the window button down, the regulator still move a bit, whilst completely bottomed out.

Anyways I can "manually" roll the window up? Or is this sounding like a complete regulator replacement?

Sounds like you need a new window regulator, you can manually push the window up and then block it with a peice of wood or try duct tape until you get a new regulator.

Tried everything to push the window up but nothing budges. It's like the regulator is stuck in a gear or something. Oh well, new regulator it is.

Get ahold of jycsalas, he has replaced many.
Working on a LR is no different than working on any other car or truck.
