Default 2003+ headlights on an 2001?
I'm confused here, I thought this style headlight was on the 2003 and up?

It was never an option for 99-02. Here's my truck

It's not just swap and play, you have to make some brackets and do some wiring modifications. It's not hard, just time consuming to do it right. But extra time consuming to do it wrong!

Wow, between and $600 and $700 for a set of new 2004 headlamps on ebay? I guess I'll look for a 2003 with a blown motor for a grand and have a ton of replacements parts..

Yeah that's standard pricing for the new headlight assemblies. I got mine as a set for around $120.
