Default 2004 D2 purchase

Im buying another 04 D2 and have a few questions I have been out of the loop for a few years with LR.

models

I know there is a S, SE and HSE and a 7 for 7 seats

also I know HSE has Nav, parking sensors and rear air suspension standard

can someone give me the other differences between the trim levels?

I asume the S trim has not sunroofs and SE and HSE does I'm just haveing trouble finding out all the other differences and why the S models are so much cheaper used

Thanks
Mark

Really the biggest difference is interior. The S and SD had duragrain seats and no heaters. Only the leather seats have heaters and some SE's do not have the swith for them. Also the radio package, both Alpine but SE and HSE with the amp and upgraded speakers. No hitch on the S models. Other than that not much else. SE and HSE where available with winter package that includes the heated windshield. But I have seen S's with moonroofs, and SE models without them. Oh and wheels. Only the 16 inch varity on the S and SD.

Wink

ah fog lights I did not notice that

I'm looking at a 04 S and it has cold weather package with heated windshield no moon roofs and I see not fogs now and someone put factory 18" land rover wheels on it.

My S is wired for fog lights, and heated windshield, and everything else too it seems. I'll have to find the lights in a salvage yard I suppose.

My S has the sunroofs, duragrain which was a bummer and no fog lights.

I have the switches for the heated seats installed. Now i have to get the heating elements. Plenty of options on ebay $80-100.

True jafir..all the wires are there. My SD even has the wires for the seats...the Duragrain seats don't have the heat elements. I actually like the Duragrain. My wifes SE has the leather and prefer mine. I have a full set of duragrain seats from a 03 which are differt (color) from my 02. Gonna make the switch one day.
