Default 2004 D2- Springs from D1 ok?

I just bought a 2004 D2.

I have a set of OME 1 5/8" springs from a D1,will these work on the 04' D2?

They will install, yes, but really no telling how they'll sit until they're in.

Thanks Zach,

I was told that the truck will sit higher in the front, but if I switch the top "seats" of the springs from front to back and vis versa it will sit level...

Wanted to know if anybody ever tried.

Thanks for the response. The truck I bought is really nice, but the PO put 22" rims on it! I can't stand them(And stick on chrome grills on the side fender, reminds of something Dusty would put on his rig).

I think the PO had aspirations of owning an RR. I run 19" on a stock D2 with 255 50 R19 tires and that's about the limit for me as I do a lot of tarmac autoroute miles. 22" is, eeerrr, huge even by RR standards with low profile tires like rubber bands. Must be an ex-racer

Really dig the stick on fender grilles though ..........'go faster' gear.
