dam I guess the trail edition 04 d2 bonnatie grey is very common indeed! That's what I got lol

I also have the factory lights in my factory brush guard. The lights stopped working and now the little orange light in the switch seems to be on all the time.

Guess I should look into this relay. Has anyone rewired this to work without the high beams on using a standard relay and getting rid of the factory relay?

The link to the DIY write up i posted shows how he did it so they wont come on with high beams. its a little harder and you need to swap the switch to a clicking type. Here it is - www.discovery2.co.uk Driving / Spot Lamps
