Default 2004 discovery burning fuel like its still $1/gal

I pulled codes
P0130, (O2 sensor sircuit bank 1, sensor 1)
P0171, (system too lean, bank 1)
P1171, (oxygen sensor system too lean fault, banks 1 & 2)
P0102, (mass or volume air flow A circuit low)
Did a search here and found some great information, thank you Land Rover Forums! I’m pretty sure I will need an MAF and front 02 sensors. Just wanted to bounce this off you guys before spending the 600 bucks. What say you? Vehicle has 62k miles. Thanks again gentlemen, this place is the best.

If you do decide that you need parts, two o2 sensors and a maf should be closer to $300. 50-60 each for OEM Bosch oxygen sensors at amazon and about $200 for a Bosch maf from a place like bputah.

Bosch 15630 is the post-cat sensor; 15175 is the pre-cat sensor. The pre-cat sensors are what drive the fuel trims and affect your mpg.

Thanks for the info guys, I ordered those sensors and all the needed parts to do Disco Mike's 60k service. Sounds like I have a fun weekend ahead...

Replace the two front O2 sensors and then reset all the codes.
See what comes back.

Maybe replace the air cleaner too.
Use CRC sensor cleaner to clean the MAF when the truck is OFF.

Which of the codes you reported indicates that you need a new MAF? I see none. Why not replace the O2s only and see what happens before dropping the coin for a MAF?

Thanks for the tip, I'll totally do that. When cleaning the maf, just spray the cleaner on, or should I try and scrub a little?

When you look inside, you will see a little wire with a bump on it. Spray that clean along with the complete inside if the unit, but be sure you got that little bump clean. I would not scrub it, personally, I'm afraid it is too fragile.
