no, they look pretty good. The funny thing is e=after I pulled the fan motor and made sure it was working it back in and it ran perfect. I then moved the car and it quit a little bit later. I again straght wired the motor and it runs geat. I then checked the relay which was so hot you could not touch it. Hence, I ordered the relay. Did not fix the problem.

Thanks for your help

As stated earlier, check the #7 fuse. Check the voltage on the hot side of the fuse receptor. The fuse boxes appear to sometimes fail between the wire connection on the back of the fuse box, to the fuse receptor on the front of the fuse box. If voltage is bad, either wire direct to the hot side of the fuse receptor, or cut both wires from the fuse box and connect via a new in-line fuse (30amp, I believe was mentioned).

Wow. See my post about 2001 Discovery. Same problem. The Dealer told me it was the fuse panel and it all had to be replaced. I was going to just jump it and put an inline fuse in, but I found a replacement box for 100$(dealer wanted 380 + Labor). Mike gave me the name of the site. I think it was landroverparts.com

good luck

Are you getting that same voltage at the fan harness connector? If so, it may be the resistor pack inside the ductwork at the fan.

Here is a site with a picture of one:

alrite as far as celsius push the off and auto button at the same time then it will switch, as far as the fan there is a white four pin connecter behind the glove box that is cooked, remove glove box and look for the big wires next to the fan housing i believe brown and a red plus a 2 smaller wires in a four pin connecter, the red one is usually the cooked one, sometimes brown just disconnect it and look. scott

ordered the resistor recommended. i can not find one like it on the duct work. there is one to the left of the fan motor but it does not look like the one mentioned above. also noticed there are 2 relays i tried replacing the one on the front of the fan motor not the one behind it.

patience running then aint this fun
