Please can any body help me - just purchased a used Land Rover Discovery from a Dealership - had new brakes, rotors, and throttle body - Every morning when I start the car up it sounds like there is a gurgling and sloshing of water coming from behind the radio and by the passengers side glove box. Took it to Dealer and they told me this is normal - due to the heater core - The car did have coolant leak, but they did fix this. Is this normal?

 

No this is not normal and is a clear indication there is not enough coolant. Two thing could be happing: System was not properly burped for air or two you have a pretty big coolant leak. Check your coolant reservoir and see if the coolant is at the full line and take the truck back to the dealer.

Search this forum for waterfall and you will agree something is not right.

It's normal if you are low on coolant. In other words, no, something is wrong if you are low on coolant.

If he is not low on coolant then there is a air bubble and the system needs to be bled of air.

 

I checked the coolant level and it is to the full line. The truck has not overheated yet and there is no puddling under the vehicle. Also, no water in the vehicle. There is a warranty I am just not sure how to approach the situation. Just want a somewhat good vehicle
