2004 random misfire
So after constantly losing my battle with low oil pressure I had my indie mechanic put in a new/used motor in mine out of another 04 with only 80,000 miles and ran great before being pulled. Problem is that we are running out of things to replace and nothing's fixing the misfires.
After installing he said he drove it all over and it ran great for him, but it started missing horribly when I got about 6 miles out. I took it back and they discovered a knock sensor(I think, I was too busy being upset to listen) wasn't plugged in good. It ran better but still had a random misfire on one bank.
Since then they've replaced coil packs, cats, 02's, crank sensor, plugs, wires, and checked to find it had perfect compression on all cylinders. We are now waiting on a new camshaft sensor to come in, but I don't have much faith it will work after the constant upset.
Any ideas guys?

Yes the crank sensor has been replaced. I read somewhere that not the plug wires, but the plug that plugs into the coil packs is like a 3wire/3pin plug (wish I could explain better) can have a bent pin and cause the coil packs to act up???? Anyone know if that sounds right? I haven't replaced my own coil packs so I don't know much about their install.
I'll listen to even the craziest of ideas right now because we are totally at a loss.

I just remembered today I started this and never told what I learned. I hate looking at old threads and there never being an answer.
So, it turned out to be a very slight crack in the spark plug. Changed the plug and misfire gone. Sometimes it's the simple things that are the easiest to overlook.
