Default 2017 Discovery Windshield leak

I have a 2017 Discovery that just went out of warranty.. First rain in So. California and car started to leak. Dealer service center stated 3 week back order for new windshield.. Also told me it would be $2,800USD.. I informed Land Rover service rep that Land Rover has a service notice on the issue, but service rep stated my vin number was not covered.. After I informed him of substantial issues listed on internet.. he stated call Range Rover. I called Range Rover and they stated there is nothing they can do.. This is my first and last Land/Ranger Rover..

Land Rover doesn't care about you and yes, ditch the Discovery before you sink your life savings into it. Sorry for your troubles.

Try posting on the Discovery 5 (“New Discovery”) forum and see if you can any traction there, the disco 2 forum (1999-2004) probably won’t yield much.

I would be calling local auto glass company.
Ive had leak located and resolved with an experienced glass company - and this wasn’t replacing the glass.
If the glass is faulty - then insurance would likely get involved to replace… wouldn’t they?
