235/85/16
#21
I asked Mr. Fish a similar question as I got my 235/85/16 tires installed two days ago.
It fits fine without any modification.
I was hoping the 2inch lift and new tire setup would make me look like that Yellow Rover in the first post. That's why I think the Yellow Rover is lifted a bit more.
235/85/16 dont look so skinny unless you really lift the truck more.

Patiently waiting for my 265/75's to run their course so I can try out the 235/85's!
Toran do you have a pic of your setup? I have a 2" lift as well and would love to see a comparison
Edit: To me it looks like the Camel Trophy trucks are on 7R16, those babies are skinny!

If you're looking for a really great tire with good tread wear, check out the Falken AT3W. They come in that size and id take then over the BFGs, especially for the price. Less road noise and I've had them in mud up to my bumpers (in 2wd) and I've had them in 3-4" of snow at 60 on the interstate with a trailer behind me. Great in heavy rain, too. I can't give them a glowing enough review. I'm about to get a set on my Disco as well because of how much I liked them on my Silverado.
