255/65/18 with 2" lift??
Well I have a set of 265/75/16 for off road use. I want to get a set of more streetable tires for my 18" stock wheels that wont look stupid small like the 255/55/18 that are on them now with my 2" RTE lift. I was thinking of something like a 255/65/18 they are almost 2" greater in diameter than the 255/55/18 and have about 1" more of a sidewall. Anyone have any pictures of this size with a 2" lift?

previous owner of my truck put on 285/60R18 's
They look good, but the truck is too tall, by my measure just over 6' 8", which is the magic number for parking garages here in Seattle. It also drives like crap, it won't track straight and is very skittish over bumps. I'm thinking that a more road biased and slightly shorter and narrower tire will work better for my needs. My current tire rubs at about 75% steering lock.

I'm running 265/65/18 BFG ATs with an OME lift (approx 2"). I have no rubbing and tires fit lift and wheelwell perfectly. You should be good to go with the 255/65.
I also and parking garage challenged, and only trust seven foot or higher. I've done 6'10", but it was a little too close for my liking.
