Default 265/70/16 tires

This question has probably been asked 1,000 times, but I couldn't find an answer in the search. Anyway, I need to know if a 265/70/16's will fit on my 2000 Disco. Stock height and all. The originals were 255's, so it shouldn't be much of a difference, or at least I don't think so. Thanks, MAC

No, they will need a 2" lift. The biggest you can go to would be a 245/75/16.

I have 265/70/16's on my 2003. They fit fine no rubbing at all even in sharp turns. Don't know if it's the same as your 2000.

Mac,
How many miles on your truck and what do you use it for?
If you are over 60 or 70,000 miles your truck has settled by up to as much as 1.5"s and even though these tires have been put on an 03, your truck needs a little lift for that big of a tire.

It looked alot better also after the lift, I couldn't have flexed much off road either because they filled up the fender wells before I put the 2 inch lift on.

I have a 117k now. I only use the truck for on street use. The tires I am looking at are street tires. No aggressive tread or anything. The wife won't let me off road until she gets her minivan or something to replace it. But I can't roll around in a minivan, period. So I get to buy two cars, one for her, one for me, and the truck to play with and work on.
