285/70/16
I own a 01 Series II and am wondering how much lift I need to clear 285 tires. I really want MT Claws. Had them on another vehicle and loved them. Problem is the smallest tire is a 285/75/16. Does anybody know how much I would need to lift it? I have 245/75/16's on it now. Thanks

I would use OMEs front 779 coils unless you are going to have a bumper and winch, then use the 751's and using 762 rear springs. Consider using the new OME Sport Shocks.
Have you already set up your CDL for the extra traction, how about your spider gears, those tires will play havic on your diffs so start saving for lockers and or gears.

My intention is to add a Rovertym bumper to it. Not sure about a winch. Would a 265 fit without a lift. The only reason I want a 285 is because of the claws. Has anybody had experience with Kuhmo MT's they are similar to the claws. Also Disco Mike who has the OME sport shocks. I haven't seen those yet. Are todico lifts any good? Lots of questions I know. Just don't want to mess my Rover up. I like it too much for that. Whats the best way to improve the diff strength? The only thing on it that isn't stock is the plugs and wires NGK iridiums & Magnecor 8mm.
