3 Amigos + BRAKE warning light
I have 3 amigos plus a BRAKE warning light, they are on all the time.
ABS amigo says Front Right Sensor Bad Output.
Some background:
115K, no sounds from the front wheels to indicate bad bearings, new EBC rotors and akebono pads, no brake squeal or shudder. The lights come on during light braking, I felt a slight bump on the brake pedal and then the dash lit up and dinged. Truck is parked and I'm not driving it until the problem is sorted.
From what I read the first step is to pull the sensor and see if it is chewed up or not, then take it from there.

I checked the wheel for play, none.
Checked the sensor resistance and got 1000 ohm, so that's good.
Took the truck for a 10mile test drive and slammed the brakes on dirt in the rain, TC works and no errors.
So at this point I'm puzzled. Keep on driving and see if it happens again I guess, then pull the hub and see what it looks like.

yes, you should pull the caliper and rotor, it's not that difficult. If you replace the sensor you can just cut the cord of the old one and pull it through; it's easier that way. The new/replacement sensors don't have the connector on them, they hardwire to the computer. You can just thread that back through so you don't have to pull the hub.
