3 amigos but only traction control not acutally working
Being the 3 amigos are lit but my ABS works fine and only my traction control isn't working and my cruise control works fine, any input as to what I should look into replacing first? I was thinking speed sensors but would cruise work if that was the problem?

If the ABS isn't working then you do have problems. Usually the ABS works and the other 2 don't, this then is normally just a matter of resetting the codes.
Don't be one of those who, with no knowledge , just throw parts at the truck. Get the codes read, get an estimate for the repair and get back to us with what is wrong and the costs.
Many of us know where to buy parts other then from the dealer, saving you money.

Your cruise doesnt run off the wheel speed sensors, those are what works the ABS and traction control. And traction control is nothing more than the ABS slowing a spinning wheel so that the lost power from that wheel gets transfered to the other wheel on the same axle.
All they are in basic terms are magnets and on the brake rotor are "notches" and everytime a "notch" pass's the magnet the computer computes wheel speed for each wheel, if one or more wheels are spinning faster than the others the computer brakes that/those wheels to match their speed to the other wheel(s).
Your cruise control runs off of the transmission. Alittle more complicated than that, but in basic terms...also that is how your speedometer works, off the transmission.
Before you can fix anything you must get your codes read.

ABS is working fine only Traction control is not.
ABS is working fine only Traction control is not.
Since your ABS does work, then I have two questions, are your brakes, new, aftermarket doe they squeak and are your front wheels covered with lots of brake dust?
You will still need to have some one with a scanner read and clear the codes, only after answering the above questions.

Actually when the 3 lights first came on, I drove home and pulled my front tires to see my pads. The pads were as low as they could be without damaging the rotors. I did change them with after market pads, as for brake dust no more then with the old pads, but I also only put about 5k miles a year on this truck. I don't have any noise coming from my brakes.

If it were just the pads being thin and I replaced them wouldn't my traction control function properly? Or would a reset be needed before that would happen? Lastly what type of code reader do I need to look for when calling mechanics to see if they have it? Thanks everyone for the input and help
