anybody on here with the 3" OME kit have to deal with steering issues?

 

I just ordered new radius arms and caster corrected swival ***** to correct my issues. It drives fine 60mph then its a little scary.

 

note that Long Haul has a D1 with a 4" lift.

my rover guy here said he's had a 3" lift on multiple D2's and didnt have to modify the steering

 

I have the Ome 751's in front and the 762's in the rear and I don't have any problems with steering. The alignment specs are good and I have had the tires for about 10,000 miles with no uneven wear. I can run her 75 down the interstate with no problem. I still need to add the one inch spacers or D1 spring seats on the rear. After seeing this post I will probably order the spacers.

 

I am running OME 751/763 with 285/75 16 and have no "issues." I say it that way because you can certainly tell a difference in steering with the added weight of tires and subtle geometry change, but I highway every day and do not feel unsafe/uncomfortable with how the truck handles. Just grins from ear to ear

 

Same setup here - 751/763 with 33s. Definitely notice the added rotational weight from the wheels, car drives well, firmer than before and less body roll. Had this setup for the past 15k miles or so. At 120k miles now.

 

Looks great. I just had the same done and put on 265/75/16's BFG AT. Will post some pics soon. Question though, my battery has died twice since the shop did it. My guess is the did not reprogram the SLABS and the compressor is just running it down. Any thoughts?
