Default 3" OME: spring seat or spacer in rear?

Alright, so I'm back and forth every 6 hours but I think I've made up my mind on my setup. Plan to pull the trigger tomorrow!

751s in front and 762s in rear

I don't want the rear to sit lower, so I'll either

1. Add D1 spring seats to rear
2. Add 1" spacers in the rear

Any difference in performance or preference between #1 and #2? The spacers are easier to get, I can just have Lucky8 send them with the kit.

Thoughts? Thanks.

I think there were some D1 spring seats on eBay the other day or there has to be a junk yard within 200 miles of you with a D1 in it.

I personally would try to find them over using a spacer if I had the time/money/option. I guess I don't really have any technical thoughts just personal preference to use OE parts instead of adding something in that everything around it wasn't designed to be used with necessarily. I know that probably doesn't make sense, just my thoughts I guess...

Also if you get into your install and find that your retaining rings on the front are shot let me know as I ordered some from L8 and didn't use them (still in Terrafirma factory package).

So since you are concerned about keeping the height even, do you have a front winch and or bumper cause that will play into what you need for the rear?

no Mike I don't yet have a winch bumper.

that's why i figured i need the 1" spacer in the rear.

I think he is saying that even with that spacer your front will still sit high using those springs. The 751 springs on the front without a winch/bumper is going to give you more like 4in of lift and 762 + spacer in the back is going to give you more like 3in.

Are you planing on doing a bumper at some point?
