Hi all. I am really excited because I just bought a 1998 Disco Aniv edition. #39 of 50 for resale. I know it's special but I would like to find out exactly what the differences are. What makes this tuck so special? I am in Toronto, Canada and this is a Canadian Disco. Is this 50 trucks world wide? North America? Mine is is bright green. Were they all green?

I am aware that it has most if not all of the LSE options like chrome PKG etc. It has the 2 roofs, 7 passemger etc. What a cool truck. Nicest Disco i've had.

I'm curious though...how do you know it's a "50th Anniversary Edition"? I too have a white 98 disco that had a 50th anniversarry label but I didn't think anything of it when I bought her....

Either way, with only 133000 Km's it's an awesoem truck! It's in the shop getting a power steering seal done and I am ready to rock.

I'm sure someone will come up with the information. I bought mine off lease with <60,000 miles...just broke 94,000 and like it very much. For those that complain about upkeep I say try one out....and what mainenance is needed is easy.

I also have a 98 disco also. What I been told is that all 98 discos have the 50th sticker on back to mark the anniversity of the disco. That the LSE model have a few extra thingson the truck to show that it is the actual 50th model. This is just what I was told. My LE is plain but have the sticker in the back window

 

But does yours not have the plaque on the dash? Mine has the comemorative plate and it states #39 of 50. And also the gold pint stripe with the words 50th anniversary. I'm still confused LOL.

In the end it's a gorgeous truck and wont have a problem selling it. Looks great and it's loaded.
