Yup, there was a SE7, it also had rear a/c and a rear step.
But dont get your hopes up, you need to cut out your cargo floor and weld in a SE7 floor as then install the seats.
If I remember right it costs around $2,000 for the parts alone (new) and impossible to find used.
Oh, and the head rests bolt to the roof.

Yours can still be a 6 passenger. Just include some bungee cords, and explain how to use the tie down shackles in the rear.

I'm in NYC and purchased a D2, it came with 2 rear seats and the hardware. I don't need them and will sell them. The problem is the seller was unable to retrieve them from garage(snow storm and they are behind loads of stuff). I might sell them once I get them.

i'm now confused (doesn't take much!)

you have a D2 with extra seats, but the previous poster said it is an SE7 that has the extra seats, and another poster says i need to weld in the floor area from an SE7

so can someone explain further?

If its not an SE7 model, there is no mounting for the extra 2 seats.
However, in an SE7, the seats can be easily removed while leaving the mounts in place.
I think one poster just doesn't have his seats in and wants to sell them because they are useless to him.
However, if you do not have the SE7 model, it will be very hard to add the extra seat, and its really not worth your time or money.

Does that help?
