You can go much cheaper with the Kingsborne wires. I went with the 8mm.

Thanks.
I have them, but not installed yet. There are better deals from STI and Kingston, which people on the boards rate higher despite their lower price.
I live an hour away from AB Pacific and have done a good deal of business with them, so that factored into me chasing those wires, plus the fact the wires are red. I have an obsession with color coding everything.
The wires themselves look good and solid and are individually cut to the proper length, but no labeling or instructions on where each wire goes. You are supposed to take off one wire, match its size to the new wire, then install one wire at a time till you are done.

They are a pain to put on and I'll likely pay Carrs4x4 for that work. It's around $250 in labor, but I have SAI so it's more complicated than normal.

Really fat wires can be difficult to get into the retainers/guides.

Titanium sparkplug sleeves help protect the wires as well. Numerous ones available on Amazon at all levels of pricing. The thicker wires to help with heat were part of my decision as well.
If you buy such thick wires you'll need to create a new wiring loom for them. Those 8-10mm screw done wire separator kits snuggly fit the 8.5 magnecor wires.

About a month ago I swapped out my arcing STI wires for a new set of Kingsbourne 8MM wires. Truck has never run better.
