My mechanic recently called to say that the price to replace my water pump and serpentine belt will be a little over 800 dollars. Following talking to him I did some research and found that most pumps run from 150-250 at the most and a belt is only about 30 dollars. Furthermore he said it should take roughly 90 min for the work... so my question is am I missing anything or is this just a steep charge?

More info... 2000 Land rover discovery II, 90k miles (had major service performed at 88,000 miles)
