Default 90% complete with projects

Ah, this weekend went so much better than the last. Down to one more coat of paint on the headliner, and then reinstall. Repaired the broken upper mounting bolt attachment on the left 'D' pillar exterior trim with some plastic weld. Flushed the brake fluid. Just have the headliner reinstall and coolant flush to do.

Best of all: By measurements, I can lift my Disco 2" and still fit the garage! According to the almighty sunvisor measurements, it should be 78" tall at the roof rails. Mine is only 77", and the lowest point one the garage opening is 81". I am super pleased about this.

*I will post some pictures when the headliner is back in place. I am quite pleased with how it is turning out so far.

Safety pins to the rescue!

Thank God I don't have 3rd row seats!

Day One

Naked

fabric removed, foam to follow

I will give pictures of the GREY chalkboard painted liner when finished.
(and I didn't think pictures of me under the Landy for the brake flush watching the bleeder go drip, drip, drip would be exciting)

Should be finished and installed this weekend. I just need to give it one more coat, but it's currently propped up against the garage wall because my wife was tired of it resting on the roof of her Accord while the paint dried. I'm actually following directions on the can and letting it dry for 24 hours in between coats.

Yes, the kids will be able to chalk up the ceiling now. I learned of the chalkboard paint on this forum, from Hilltopper's writeup.

What I'm wondering now, is: how difficult and expensive would it be to install rear A/C in this since the headliner and interior trim is already out... From the looks of it, I would need to purchase the rear blower/evaporator, the ducts, A/C lines, switch panel, wiring, and cut some holes in the headliner. This can't be too expensive or time consuming can it?
