Default '95 Disc. Noise/Rattle

Have a rattling noise coming from under the floorboard under the back seats. Rattles/bangs mainly when going over bumps at a slower speed. I've been under the truck but can't find anything that's obviously loose.

Anyone thoughts?

Either bad cats or muffler. Go under with a soft hammer and start hitting things, you;ll find it.

Thanks Mike. I've had those "bangs" before. But entire exhaust has been replaced. So, i'm convinced it's something else hitting the floorboard. Damn Gremlins.

Well all you can do is get under the truck and shake and tighten everything, check all the bushings.

I have the same noise, but haven't taken the time to find it for sure. I have tightened all of the body bushings, and replaced my shock bushings. I think it may be the bushings for the lower link on the rear. ( the bars that go from the frame to the rear axle ). I think if you can get someone to bounce in the back of the truck while you are under it, you can find it. I haven't taken the time to investigate this, and it's been too cold. Also make sure there is enough clearance so you don't squish your head....[sm=partyparty.gif]

Good Luck.
