Are you using premium gas?
What plug wires are you using?

i go back and forth on the 87-93, i drive it rarely, the wires are new and i would have to check what they are, but i would of bought decent ones, all tune up stuff is new, i was running a msd coild for a while but swapped back to see if it would help

are the pressures even close to spec? 25 off sems a bit to me

i can pull the heads w/o much problem, prob port mach it while they were out

also has new idle valve and ign mod

Well you need to stop using 87 octane, that will carbon up the valves quick, essecially if you are running rich.
Clogged air filter, running to cold, wrong ignition timing, bad O2's, bad plugs and wires, bad cats, bad ECU, all of these things can cause a rich mixture.
Run it to rich for to long and you are looking at a valve job.

what about the cyl psi?

air filter is good, runs normal temps, o2s are new, timing is set right but vacuume adv is bad

cats smell ok, id cut them w/o hes if i thought it would fix this thing, w/o rear sensors

no idea on ecu, i swapped the amm but it changed nothing

dose have one leaky ex gasket, but i do not think it would trigger both

clt and fuel sensors tested good

valve job would be fine w/me if the money fixed my problem

Your compression test is fine.
You need to fix your vacuum advance.
A valve job wont fix your problem but will be needed if you continue to run it rich.
It will run rich until up to temp and then it will lean back out, so if you are not driving it that often and driving only short trips you will have a rich run problem.

New guy with a thought here. Could it be a faulty fuel pressure regulator on the back of the fuel rail making it run rich?
