Default '97 customized disco

Hey guys- I'm new to the board, but looking into buying a 1997 disco that has rovertyme suspension, brush guard, roof rack, and a snorkel. The first owner used it to off-road extensively and the guy who bought it in '06 hasn't taken it out. I'd like to know how easy the rovertyme is to work on and also would be open to any advice you have about working on a customized vehicle like this. Thanks everyone!- S.

Don't understand your question about how easy it is to work on a Rover Tyme suspension???
As for the rest of the truck, how mechanical are you?

I'm not very mechanically inclined, so we have a mechanic that works on our 2000 [unmodified] disco just fine. How does the rovertyme ride?

You need to go drive it, there are 4 different sets of RTE springs, each riding a little differently, although most peeople think it is much better then the fcatory suspension.
As for cost, what are thgey asking?

Way too expensive, how many miles on it?
All the modifications are valued at 25% of the cost, so what they have added is less then $100 in actual value.
What are you planning on using this truck for?

I just saw a bone stock white D2 for $5000 with 120,000 miles and all it service records, never been off the road.

Thanks for al the comments. If I bought it, I would definitely off-road it. I knew that he was asking too much, but I wasn't sure how to calculate the value of the add-ons. As for mileage, it has around 120,000 on it.
