Is there any way to upgrade the headlights from a 1997 Discovery II to one of the newer styles? Ive tried the search for this forum, but could not find any answers. Thanks in advance!

On ebay there is a guy that sells the lights and the kit with it to upgrade your lights to the newer ones. Just ordered it myself.

 

did you want to upgrade to the 99-02 DII lights with the black ring or the 03-04 HID setup? the early DII headlight with the black ring is a direct replacement. no mods needed.

 

I upgraded to the 03-04.

 

any pictures or links for any of those products?

 

Will it fit a Series I Discovery? I know it will fit earlier Series IIs. I cant seem to find any place for a Series I fit.

 

I just went to Ebay - car parts and typed in a range of years or you can type specific product - I'll hop on th e site and get back with info. Okay so I just went and looked - the guy I bought from is out right now, BUT there are a couple of other ebay stores I have gotten stuff from and I think they may also have some conversion kits. One is in the UK - his store on ebay is John Craddock Ltd. , the other one is RDK Performance. They all have pictures and such. Hope that helps!
