98 D1 Hard to start, then high idle
This morning my D1 gave me the first real problem (there have been other small ones, but this was the first I wasn't sure if I would get where I needed to go).
It would crank but not start. It cranked at the normal speed, but just wouldn't catch. I tried for 2-3 seconds then stopped and tried again. On the 4th try it sputtered a little bit, and on the 5th try started, but the idle shot right to 2000. I shut it back off, and it started right up again, but idle was at 1200ish (in park).
I recently installed an IAC motor. It idled high at first (1500 in park), and has been progressively coming down to the right level. On Saturday it was around 800 in gear so I thought it was on the right track. Yesterday I didn't drive it only moved it to mow the grass that has overtaken the stones of my parking area.
I recently (within the last 1500 miles) replaced the plugs/wires, all the fluids and filters, and exhaust (cat-back). I also replaced the IAC motor last week, as I previously stated. The truck is a 98 with 111K miles. I always use 92 or 93 octane (whatever is available).
What should I look at?

No I did not have the IAC reset. It seemed like it was "learning" fine, and was idling in line with what it should.
Sorry I forgot to mention I also cleaned the throttle body, and did a Seafoam cleaning.
I haven't tried to start it with starting fluid. It only happened for the first time this morning while I was leaving for work.
