Question 98 LR disco , max tire size BF all terrain 4/4 tires

im sure this question has been ask ? i have a 98 disco thats ready for new tires , i would like to put BF Goodrich all terrains, the Michlin tires now dont have a very agreessive tread. but its size is 245/17/16, how much bigger, taller wider , can i go without rubbing, the the all terrain tires ? thx

245/75/16 are as big as you can go without mods from everything I have read.

Or consider replacing your suspension so you can go larger.

With some trimming possibily a 285-75-16, 33" or go to a 15 " wheel and get some wider tires.
Just remember this will cost you in mileage as well as extra parts like spider gears, axles, drive shafts.

265/75r16 is what most run with the 2" lift.

Go to www.onlinetires.com and order the Cooper Discoverer S/T, free shipping on them right now, I think it ends today though.
Mine were $468 shipped and will be here Thursday and then I will get them installed Monday on my day off.

did you get the 235's? The 245's are all $600 to $700 depending on load range...

I went with the stock DI size, 235/70.
I did not look at any bigger sizes so pricing will be different, but the free shipping still applies doesnt it?
