99 D2 running rough after coil pack replacement
SOLUTION
Based on advice below, I was able to correct rough running engine after installation of Coil packs, wires and plugs.
2 items corrected.
I had to fully seat MAF plug AND I had plug wires #4 & #6 switched at the plug side.
Thank you.
___________
ORIGINAL POST
Replaced coil packs and wires and plugs due to multiple misfires. Also replaced upper intake gasket.
Now running rough. Acceleration is poor. Idle is bad too.
Checked all connectors, hoses, etc. Verified plug gap
Any ideas before I tear it apart and start again?

If your truck is a Kinversand your situation is hopeless. You need to sell the truck to me for $300.
Just kidding; I love Kinversand.
But seriously, my first thought is to check, double check, and triple check that the wires are installed correctly. There was a member here last week with the same problem, and he eventually found he had misread the diagram for attaching the ignition wires to the coils and had at least a couple swapped. Also double check that they are FIRMLY installed on the coil packs.

Are you sure the connector and wires for the MAF sensor are firmly seated? Mine was doing the rough running thing after some work and after checking double-checking everything my LR Indy mechanic had to show me that one!
