thanks all for the great posts, especially enjoyed Dave03s's post from the owners manual- learned something new today. in my case, it was a matter of changing out the MAF sensor, went with a Bosch. the difference is night and day- very powerful acceleration (compared to pre-new MAF) and much smoother idling, AND... no more lean bank 1 and 2 codes popping up. hope this helped...

Yup.. this is what I did.. As I approached the hill, kill Cruise, shift to 3rd and roll along. This is not the lazy drivers truck...

Compared to driving my RRS.. I had to go to OKC for work on Wednesday... Hit the highway in that, locked cruise at 80 (sounded and felt like I was going 20). Got 19.7 mpg round trip... not too shabby, for a S/C.

I also run an RRS but 3.0 diesel auto, cruises all day at 80mph on cruise and can top 100+mph with ease when needed. At 80mph on motorways it returns about 30mpg. We like the RRS for long trips (1000-2000 miles) but it is so comfortably luxurious, quiet and boring sometimes.

When do you need 100+ MPH ?

when the jackass in the mustang or challenger blocks you in on the two lane interstate and you want to pass... quick shift to "sport" mode, barley tap the gas and you are pinned to your seat and before you know it you're at 110...

The problem is, they are so quite and solid you have no idea how fast you are going...

if you've never ridden in, or driven a RRS, you should... I don't recommend it unless you want to buy one, you'll be hooked.
